I have plans to visit Indonesia in the next few months. I was wondering what advice anyone has for me or any web pages that I should look into.

Through instant messaging I have met about 5 people in Indonesia. I am trying to learn some basic words and phrases.

Where do you suggest I visit or avoid? What warnings do you have for me? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If possible I would like to stay for a few months perhaps living in or near Jakarta. I'm a web-developer and can do my job anywhere in the world with my laptop as long as I have an Internet connection.
