I am a Pisces female..and truth is...I love Cancer men 99% of the time....lol...they frustrate me when they want to contradict what you say and such...but all of my most intense relationships have been with Cancerians....so kudos to you guys! Okay, I'm an Aries, and while I don't necessarily like Cancers, I do find you guys (ladies included though I'm not into other women) to be one of the most erotic and deeply sensual signs, including any Scorpio for that matter. How to tell a Cancer guy that we are over?

As a Cancer woman, I 'm just giving up. I am completely in love with the Cancer guy, but he's becoming totally self serving. For example, he complained about my "sticky" lip gloss; yet, I never complain about how his beard make my entire face red because it irritates me. And I'm tired of always complimenting him and never really getting those compliments back..I'm not narcissistic, but doesn't he realize that while I'm at home waiting around for him, there are at least 3 guys waiting for me to give them the green light? I'm not gorgeous (not ugly looking either), but I'm educated (master's degree), I make my own comfortable living, I'm outgoing, and people generally like me. So, I'm giving up on him. I want a guy that wants to do things with me and doesn't get lazy when I bend over backwards for him. And I'm ready to date other people--and no offense, I've gotta steer clear of Cancer men for a while. This is the second one that kills my spirit.

Cancers and sexual relationships?

I'm a little bit frustrated and confused about a Cancer guy I recently met (I'm a Pisces btw). He's really interesting and creative, and he's a photographer. He wanted me to model for him... which I'm not going to do now though lol. But he started out just being sweet and friendly, but quickly started going down hill by the way that he talks to me. I mean like now he keeps trying to turn the conversation onto sex and private things that I don't really feel comfortable talking about with him. But aren't Cancer men supposed to be more 'cautious' and 'slow' when it comes to sex? I always thought that they usually like to be in a relationship first before becoming intimate with someone. But this guy seems to want to go there when we barely even know each other. My question isn't about whether I should do anything sexual with him or not.. because I'm not going to. But my question is whether a lot of Cancer men are like this guy, or not? Is it pretty common for Cancers to have sex without being in a serious relationship? Because I guess I feel kind of let down.. like I was expecting more from him because he was a Cancer. I mean expecting more from him in the way of him acting more 'gentlemanly' lol.

It is natural to see cancers not be understood or accepted due to many factors; emotions are major ones; quietness; liking the home; etc. Every other sign usually wines about it, Tauruses excluded of course because they are really very similar to cancers. But there is always this stupid misconception about cancers, more over no one really listens otherwise.

Then there are people who are either cancers or have some cancer traits in their charts who freak out about this, Why do people keep thinking cancer things are bad? I have always though that its quite wonderful because cancers have all the strength of all the signs. So is there anyone on here who is quite content with the way they are or do you all freak out about your cancer characteristics.

ok so until recently i started reading people talk about our eyes. anything to that? intensity, depth, a 'stare' or whatever... i'd never noticed in reading any of the descriptions... usually it's the scorpio thing, but what does everyone else think about this?

Someone catches you off guard, says something or does something that hurts you or rubs you the wrong way (not hard to do, we are moody = ), instead of letting that be known, you retreat, you seethe inside, put up your wall, and wait for the next attack/encounter when your defenses are aware and strong and the claws will most certainly be ready. In the meantime, the offender sees this as a weakness in you, because you let them get away with it. What if there isn't a next time? Or, what if they catch you off guard again?

Got a crush on the new guy at work, you keep quiet about it, wait to feel him out, see if he approaches you, if he wants you he'll talk to you, eventually, if you smile enough and show him how cool and fun you are. Sounds like a plan. But what if he never asks you out? You never really told him or anyone else that you were interested. Your more aggressive co-worker goes after him. What could've been?

Lately more and more, I've been rethinking the sideways approach that Cancer takes on life. It is rumored that we don't take anything head on, we move around it, we wait, we analyze, we maneuver..... but while we're doing that, other signs are getting the same results with the ease of just doing it. Being sensitive to everything, especially the environment, it's like we don't want to force ourselves onto anything or impose ourselves on whatever tranquility we sense, yet sometimes it's at the expense of our own tranquility being compromised.

Then again...........

It is ALSO rumored that we always get what we want because of our tenacity. Perhaps. But for further self-development......

Manipulation

I always hear that cancer men are masters of manipulation.. my fiance is cancer (july 7) and on a couple occasions we've gotten into an argument about something he was at fault about and he will leave to go to work and just not come home! He will turn his phone off and everything.. and at first i am soo mad and then that turns into worry. The next day he will come home and twist the whole thing around to make him into the victim! He will make me feel so bad, like im at fault, telling me he was so hurt that he contemplated suicide and what if i would of never seen him again... just makes me feel really bad!! Is that an example of cancer manipulation? It seems like he purposely leaves knowing how much it will eat me up to teach me a lesson or get back at me. I dunno if he does it intentionally or not though.

And when I try to stop thinking about it, it only shows more! Any insight on how to possibly overcome the ever-present reactions on my face, or at least hide it?

Not just with hurt, either, could be anything like, "brown isn't her color", but it'll show when I look at her on my face that obviously somethings wrong with her outfit. I don't want to offend anyone and even though I'm not saying anything, a look can be just as offensive.

Cancers. We grab you with the claws and never let you go. It's never black and white where emotions are concerned for a Cancer. There are always so many things to consider. I've read that the where Cancer is in the sky, it is very cloudy and grayish and very hard to read. Much like how our emotions are to us. It also comes in backwards.

How many of us have ex's out there that we still have love for? How do we do this and still be deeply in love with someone else? I'm interested to know how many Cancers are out there who still have a platonic relationship with your ex based out of mutual love, and are also in a loving, healthy, romantic relationship with someone else, without getting the two confused as a Cancer tends to do with emotions and relationships. Cause technically, you're still clinging to your ex, therefore clinging to two people? Is that legal?

Part II - The Shell

Don't you know when we go into our shells? Well, guess what? We're also not letting go of something there, some kind of hurt, and I know from experience how very gray, and complex it can be in there, waxing and waning like the moon, back and forth with yourself, and it's very easy to just go deeper into the abyss of emotion, but..... somehow we have to let go of whatever it is in order to come back out.

Does your wisdom surpass your age?

I feel like I've been blessed by the Universe with a certain degree of wisdom, yet, when it comes to older people they automatically assume they have something to teach or that you're immediately inferior to them because they're older than you. I'm all for respecting elders or just people in general but seeing as how time is an illusion, who's to say that the older you are the more wise you are? Where did that notion come from? Why is it still here?!

It's been sort of difficult, especially in the workplace, because co-workers really don't know how deep some of us can go and have went, yet they automatically assume that you're younger, therefore inferior to them. In my opinion, age is nothing but a number, and a 26 year old has the potential to be as wise as a 50 year old, and should be treated with the same level of respect if so. I've got it real bad because I'm 26 years old, but I have a face of a 19 year old. Everyone always takes me for a young, doe-eyed, naive, sweetheart, which could'nt be further from the truth, I find myself having to prove myself different from what they've assumed everytime I meet someone who takes that "Older people know best" mentality. I mean, it works and I always get the job done, but I'm tired of the cycle at this point. Tired of naive older people.

I feel like everyone has to earn there respect and wisdom rights no matter what age you are.

Note:

No, I don't think that I know it all, and I'm sure I can learn from an older person, but no more than I could learn from a enlightened 25 year old. Maybe different information, but neither one will be more valuable than the other.

I also don't think that I should have to hide my wisdom or dumb myself down to make an older person feel comfortable.

Cancer and Capricorn... two sides of the spectrum...

So I'm not sure how to start this off so much but I certainly know what's bothering me at the moment...

I have been seeing a Capricorn for just about 6 weeks... it was very new and fragile... it was exciting and full of energy too... my capricorn was very supportive in many ways, and it was because of him that I had a major epiphany into a particular hangup I have had for years... awesome...!
all this wonderful goodness aside... we don't agree on jack squat... he said himself that he is into about 5% of the same things that I am... ok... I can deal with that... but then it becomes very obvious that we don't handle stressful situations alike in any way shape or form... and it has now brought a major rift between us and I'm not sure that he will ever talk to me again... yes, I just said never talk to me again... (his words) I don't like drama... I really don't and try to avoid it... and when crazy misunderstandings do happen I'm usually the first one who wants to sit down and talk about it and get things in the open so we can deal with them, embrace them for what they are, and let them go... I want to do this now... buuut...

What's Your Moon Sign?

Well my Sun is in Cancer and my moon is in Virgo.
And oddly enough because of my moon sign I seem to be a lot more like a Virgo in personality. Unlike a Cancer I am reserved about expressing emotions to the point that I dislike emotional outbursts at all. And I don't have wild moodswings.

I'm also extremely intellectual and only get mad when people get me involved in something and claim they know what they are doing but, then show they don't know what they are doing at all. I always give people the benefit of the doubt because i'm polite and don't tell people what I really think of them unless they reserve diserve it.

i always find that whe i'm confronted with stressful, frustrating or bothersome situations such as sitting in traffic, driving through city traffic such as DC where there are weird traffic circles and you don't know where your lane is, finding parking spots in super-crowded areas, going to crowded, loud parties where i don't know many people, etc., i tend to draw into my shell and seem to get touchy and really moody. anyone else like that?

Pisces men: What the heck is up with them?

The Pisces man I am seeing seems to be so ADD. One day he's all over me, the next its like he won't even touch me with a 10 foot pole. As a Cancer, that is extremely frustrating.

I've read that Pisces men are incredibly elusive and that married women are their natural prey; yet, they get hurt easily. Okaaaaaaaaay. So then why the hell is the guy I'm "seeing" feeding me all this crap about how he worries that I'm going to change, and that he's afraid of rejection, and blah blah blah. I'm really losing my patience with this guy. Does he want me or not?!? Should I ask him straight up? Should I do this whole all or nothing bit? I read that they hate making decisions, but if this going nowhere--then I'd rather just go my separate way. I mean, its bad enough he can't seem to decide what job he wants and his credit is shot to hell.

If he asked me to, I'd turn my life upside down for him; but security is one thing I need. If he just wants me for kicks, I'd rather move on with my life. My patience has been tested, and it has just about run out.

Thoughts on a Cancer and a Gemini being soulmates? (I'm a believer in multiple soulmates by the way. I don't mean a Gemini has to be the one and only.) From what I've read, these two signs don't jive so well romantically. But I'm wondering more about soulmates in the "friend" sense anyway.

Cancer Men - Need Your Advice

How should I communicate with him when he retreats? If I call he won't answer the phone. If I send him a text message he won't respond. Should I just leave him alone? Send him messages like "miss you", "thinking of you", "hope your doing okay". Will this just irritate him? Should I send these messages everyday until he comes out of hiding or just send 1 message and leave him alone?

This man has told me he loves me and i'm his future. What can I do to make him feel secure with me? He told me he hasn't opened up to anyone like he's opened up to me but yet he still retreats. I don't think he's ever lied to me but I believe he is very secretive. I don't want to smother him or make him feel overhwhelmed. I sent him a nice long email professing my feelings for him because I thought it was only fair that he knows how i feel since he put his heart out there for me. I just want us to feel secure with each other and I'm not sure how to accomplish that. I'm not one to put my heart out there but for him I will and I told him that.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

anyway... a slight change of attention worries me already...

How "cancer" do you feel in relation to your other planets?

So I'm relatively new to the whole concept of having more signs than just your "sun" sign; I started reading about moon, venus, mars, rising, etc, etc., and I was wondering what you all thought of these other planets?

Generally, I don't know how much value I put in pluto, uranus, jupiter, saturn, whatever... but my rising and moon signs (sag and pisces respectively) seemed to really strike a chord with me.

For instance, I read the cancer descriptions and I'm almost always like, "yes, definitely!" but then I read the rising/moon stuff and even if they're contradictory to cancer (such as my free-loving sag traits) I agree too.

So basically what do you guys think? How important are the other signs/planets/houses or whatever?

Being that its a full moon and in the middle of cancer, I was just wondering if anyone else has felt a strong connection to the moon recently.
My touchy feely ooey gooey side has come out in full force and I caught myself watching back to back romantic dramas and comedies, creating some pretty etherial artwork and sewing up really feminine dresses and costumes like its going out of style. Is anyone else feeling this wonderful connection too?

Also, does anyone else love bathing in the moonlight and find themselves sleeping near the window just so you can be held in its soft gentle glow all night long?

I'm one of those Cancerians that believes love should be forever. I'm not so naive about it though, I know break-ups happen, but once I give my heart I always try to keep it together and fix what's broken. I know some Cancers aren't this way, some of us can't love at all, maybe for fear of heartbreak?

Hi I'm Cancer sun, Scorpio moon and ascendant. Do you ever feel like people just don't get you? Everything from sense of humour to not wanting to talk on long journeys because you want to look out the window and daydream instead. People keep telling me to cheer up (strangers too) but I'm not miserable, I'm just on another planet at that moment so my face must look quite empty. When I go out, I have men geting angry when I reject them because according to them i'd been flirting with them the whole evening...so not true! It just feels like everyone misunderstands me and it gets exhausting having to explain your actions/intentions/points of view and even after that they STILL don't get it.

I have never really been "into" astrology, but i recognize that a lot of what is described by my sign (cancer) is exactly my persona. It seems as if the more i read, the more i relate and accept that this is who i am.

My mother (a cancer/leo cusp) is also a very important person to me, and i feel that i am what i am because of her... there is a lot of her in me, and it happens our birthdays are very close together, putting our zodiacs in similar space.... it got me thinking.

What about a sort of sphereical design, normally the sun and moon together, like the following images

Only instead of the Moon, a picture of a crab (the animal for cancer) and instead of the Sun, a Lion ( Sign of a Leo, my mother, who is a cusp Cancer/leo)

I think the idea could be really cool, with like sort of a profile look of the lion and the golden mane (maybe even with sun rays behind his mane) and the crab could be blueish/silver with the claws wrapping around like the points on a crecent moon.

If anyone is an artist, do you think such a design would be possible?

if so, would you be willing to make like an outline for me so i could visualize the creation?

Madly in Love with a Cancer part deux...

For starters I am a Gemini with a Cancer rising...

My last relationship was with a Scorpio, it lasted but ended because his job took him elsewhere, ended on good terms.
I've always had more chemistry with my so called 'incompatible' signs... don't know why? It's just always worked.

My Mum is a Scorpio and Dad a Pisces, must be their influence and love for each other that has molded me.

Any who I've known my friend Jon for about a year now, we me online (myspace), he lives in PA while I'm in CA.
I've tried to write it off as just a good friendship that is growing but I can't help have romantic feelings for him.
He's the most amazing guy, completely unaware of my feelings... too shy to tell him so.
I don't want to scare him off.
He's reserved and protective which I so admire, I am too.
I adore how he keeps his family close to him.
I truly believe you can't help who you love, honestly am falling for this guy and hard.
My life is taking me overseas, in Jan 08 to be exact and I'd stay for him, I'd swim back for him.

Scorpio love

I have fallen in love with my next-door neighbor. She and I met quite accidentally at the park while walking our dogs. This was over ten months ago and while we proclaimed we were friends in the beginning it has always felt like much more. She was involved with a boyfriend at the time. Her sun is in Scorpio and mine is in Cancer. Her Venus is in Libra and while that is square to my sun our relationship feels like fate. Perhaps someone with knowledge can answer my question. My ascendant sign is Leo and descendant sign Aquarius. She is just the opposite of me with an ascendant sign in Aquarius and a descendant sign in Leo. Phases Of Cancer?

Someone told me recently that there are different phases of Cancer that determine the extremities of ones personality. For example, she said because I was born towards the beginning of the sign of Cancer (June 26th) that I am more reserved emotionally. Whereas, she implied that if you are born towards the middle or end of Cancer that the emotions become much more extroverted and extreme for those born at those times. Is this true?

libra - cancer pairings and libra rising in cancer ??

Hello

I am a cancer girl and my my rising sign is libra (although I don't know how that bears upon my personality) I have just started going out with a libra boy - does this mean that I will have a better chance of understanding him?
I have read many reports that say cancer and libra should stay away from each other. I have had a brief relationship with a libra before and it didnt work, I think because he was a lot younger than me and just wanted to take drugs and party - which is fine - but i have been there, done that.
I am confused about all this stuff. I also had an amazing relationship with an arien, which was tough at times but worth the struggle but again, I was warned away from him.
