<div>SO... <br/>I went out to dinner with my family on Christmas eve... <br/> <br/>The Hotel has a wine bar with a lovely dining area complete with a roaring fire place. As my mom and i approached the front door .. I Froze... here....I had been here before... <br/>but not in the flesh. <br/>I had dreamed of this place many years ago. <br/>The hotel had always seemed haunted...but i never thought too much of the dream, especially since in my dream, the hotel had been on the other side of the street. When we entered the foyer there was THE STAIRCASE i had seen in my dream...My knees buckled a little. <br/>As we walked into the dining area the bartender came right over to us and whispered into my ear, "You know the place is haunted, right?!"... <br/>Gave me a sideways glance over her shoulder and sped off to get someting from the kitchen. <br/> I sat down with my family to to read the menu and order dinner. Feeling rather disoriented at this point, i looked down at my menu and on the front cover it had the history of the Hotel.... <br/>Turns out that IN the1800's (early) 1900's the Hotel was literally dragged and moved 180 feet across the street ... <br/>i about choked on my olive... <div>When you do an investigation do you always do so with the intent to release the spirits from this plane? Have you ever had some that were benign and wanted to stay? All of my life I have had what I call "my friends" around me and have even have had psychics and mediums of different sorts tell me about them. I have never felt threatened by them and as a matter of fact consider them to not only be my friends but my protectors as well. Sometimes they drop things, misplace things for me but always with a sense of fun. As a matter of fact, I have a friend who when I first got to know him tried to astral travel into my house as I guess an experiment. The next time I saw him he "warned" me of a malevolent entity that met him angrily at my door. I guess he learned his lesson and I have never felt anything but love from these spirits myself. At times I have had "sensitive" friends over and they report they also feel my friends and they feel as though the friends are at most neutral but watching to see what my friend's intentions are. I have never felt the need to try and tell these "friends" to move on. Instead, I've just always known they were there and are grateful they are around....that is, of course, excluding the time they took a book I was right in the middle of never returned it. <div> As a child, i grew up in a very haunted house... <br/> My step-father would sit in meditation for 2 hours every day, however, he was not a good man. Imagine how much energy would build up if you meditated on something evil for 2 hours a day...everyday. <br/> Also, a previous old man had died in the house. He was very fond of the kitchen... of all places...although we did have a beautiful view of San Francisco ( i grew up near Berkeley). At night, i was always very afraid of the kitchen, as it was made clear to me, i was not invited *after hours*. <br/> Now, the basement was an entirely different place altogether. At the tender age of 7, i was convinced a man had raped and murdered a woman down there. I even could *feel* the vibration of where it happened... <br/>Ofcourse, my mother got more than a little nervous about my constant babble over things no one else had seen. I was an only child which only made it worse...If only i had a dime for every time i heard, "you have an over-active imagination". The thing is i began to believe i had an over-active imagination...SO... <br/>when paranormal events DID occur i was totally unprepared for it and in a half awake state of denial. <br/> When i was 17 my parents refurbished the downstairs and wanted me to move down there. They insisted and i was obliged...MAN was that a crazy experience. The portal must have been down there! mY FRIENDS NEVER liked coming over. They said the place had bad vibes. <br/> They were right. We decided to hold a seance with a ouija board and asked that if there was a spirit there to show itself...IT DID! About a 12 in. blue ball of light (had never heard of an Orb back then) floated slowly across the room over the board and then with speed, shot down to the candle we had lit and snuffed it right out...Needless to say i threw out that Ouija board. 6 months later that same board appeared in my closet. More than a little frightened i took it outside to a dumpster and thankfully it never returned. <br/> Every night before going to bed i would wash my face and brush my teeth. I would be frantic during the rinsing of my face because i felt someone glaring at me in a menacing way. I was terrified i would look up and see *him* behind me. I stopped washing my face at night just because of how scared it made me feel...since then...about 20 years ago...i have never again felt something so menacing. <br/> After going through some old photos, i noticed a white whirling, arcing vortex in a pic taken at that house at that same time period. I sent the photos in to several professionals and they verified it was not a fake. The freaky thing is... arcing vortexes are fairly uncommon...The most famous case coming from a pic taken while investigating the story of "The Entity"...a movie i am glad i never saw...but i do know she claimed to have been raped by a spirit. Thank God that never happened to me... <br/>However...that would describe the horrible, menacing feeling i had downstairs. <br/> I am posting the photo of the white arc...I am on the right holding a pumpkin pie and the arc is behind me winding around some plants! California in the 1970's, a cult led by a man named Solomon, set up *camp* in an abandoned old factory and created a commune. There was a creek near by where he performed his baptismal rites for children...asking them to "except they are a child of the night". It is said, Solomon became obsessed with a young girl there named Claire and after holding her in a shackles and ritually abusing her for several days he murdered her in the middle of a cult ritual. <br/> Secretly, Solomon had been studying Black Magic and had become convinced that Satan wanted a human sacrifice from him. After he plunged the knife into Claire's 15 year old heart he ran off into the dense woods. The group chased him but when they found him , he was in his secret satanic room surrounded by a circle of black candles. He had taken fists full of LSD and painkillers and carved Claire's name into his chest, thereby, bleeding to death. Supposedly, the spirits of Claire and Solomon still haunt the abandoned factory, <br/> The Cast was: Evander Holyfield, Debra Wilson, Nikki (playmate), Wee-Man, and Julio Iglesies jr. That was a really intense episode. Watching Debra Wilson's experience was fascinating and frightening. Do you think she was posessed for a short period??? If so, do you think it was the spirit of the murdered girl Claire? I sensed it was Claire that communicated directly with Debra after she had been shackled in the Ritual-Abuse room. When Debra was in the children's room i think she had made contact with Solomon...i did not sense Claire...i sensed Solomon...angry that anyone had invaded his territory....evn from beyond the grave. I found it interesting the cast refused to be interviewed afterward. They walked in as skeptics and came out believers...Debra Wilson said that when she was shackled she had an impression that she felt came from Claire...That after being tortured...and close to death...she forgot how to ask for God and forgiveness...and that is why so many are still there. Because they felt they would not be forgiven. <br/> <br/>What did you guys think? <br/> <br/>That was almost as freaky as the MOST HAUNTED 2nd episode of their 3 - day Halloween LIVE investigations in The Edinburgh Vaults in Scotland located underground. Both Stewart and John the camera man were cut...deeply.
