with all due respect for both the art of dance and all dancers.

I do not feel that a snake or any live animal in general should be used in a dance routine. They are wild animals regardless of gentle their personalities.

another example of why it is not a good idea to perform with a serpent or any other animal is; there are many people who are afraid of them, very much so. At Rakkasah, I was sharing a booth with a friend. A troupe of wonderful dancers were on stage and when one of the dancers took out the beautiful python from the basket, my friend went into sheer hysterics. I literally mean hysterics; we had to escort her outside in order to calm her down.

If you still wish to dance with your animal, please make sure it is in the safty of your home.
