I always seem to find the interesting people there...or weird connections from another stage in my life.
Last time, I met this guy from High School I hadn't seen in 15 years!
Now he's pitching movie ideas to people in LA...at least that's what he told me.
Who knows, people can be so transparently fake sometimes.
Other times it takes a while to see the hollow interior.

Anyone else going?

First Friday has been going on for ten+ years (that I've been going)...
shit, I remember when they used to give out FREE WINE AND BEER!! at the galleries. That's what originally attracted my homeless punk rock friends and I!
Anyways, there's cycles and booms and busts and such as well,
so I'm just going see what it's like!

I bought the tickets already but I only have a hundred n' some saved up to get an apartment and the 'departure date' is the 27th of August!

If i don't talk to you today Mark, hope you're enjoying the acclimatization to your new /old home.
