I have re-built the SuperCooler once again for 2005. It will be lighter and have fewer parts. rick1

Thanks Ed, The SuperCooler is a North Bay Burner origional. It is a custom made evaporative cooler for the playa. Solar power is stored in batteries for 12 volt power to an inverter for the 110 volt fan motor. With Arizona mist emitters, a tip from 2001 playa neighbor, and simple hand pump chemical sprayer and a fine mist is blown out to cool even the most parched and dusty camp visitor.

Come by at five and the Liquor Hard Lounge opens serving Martinies, with the mister and jazz greats playing from the ipod and the night is ushered in.

Sorry for the delay. Just getting used to this tribe thing. I got lost for two days.

--Got any links to photos? Sounds like a really interesting project.
--Oh, and re: all things solar I'm suddenly assembling a team to build a couple of heliostats for my '06 shop project. I really like the idea of getting steam power out to the Playa, heh.

          Ed,

I posted a photo of this years SuperCooler in my photos. Just click on Linda's photo.

Our group of disorganized individules are really getting pushed to get it together to survive and prosper this year on the playa. I think it is going to be a year of EXREAMS!

          Rick
