Then at 5 pm, we take it to the streets as the class morphs into the always saucy 4th Annual "Romp of the Playa Hookers" rampage!

hey folks -

I'm making a bulletin board for our 7:30 Boulevard neighborhood out of an old door & some 4x4's.

So be sure to print out posters advertising your camp & events, etc.... and look for a big bulletin board near 7:30 & Ego, by Comfort & Joy's neon flags. Bring a staplegun or tape to put your stuff... and check out what's going on in the neighborhood!

Tuesday night events on 7:30 Boulevard

Here's one for Tuesday night:

For the 5th year in a row, SCARAB Camp will be hosting a Tuesday night world music dance. This year, it's the Night in a Blender: World Music Hybrids dance, featuring songs from around the world that that mix up disperate styles to form a fascinating new Thing. Sinegalese hip-hop? Hawaiian blues reggae? Indian electronica? an Arabic version of "Shaft"? If you've never heard it, we've got it, and it WILL shake your collective pelvi.

Time: 8:00-10:45pm

Come dressed in a mish-mash of styles yourownself, and dance under the stars with SCARAB.

And, as in year's past, I'll be giving away CDs of the night's mix to the first 50 dancers (not spectators).

WATERCOLOR IN THE DESERT
1 - 3pm, Thursday afternoon

Come with us as we explore the landscape of Hope and Fear thru water color painting (make some art to burn?). Kick back with a brush in your hand and colors on the brain (and paper). Resident artist on hand will demonstrate various tips and techniques! Bring your beautiful ideas and we supply the rest.

YOGA WITH FUZZY
3-4pm, Thursday afternoon

Fuzzy hosts this gentle afternoon yoga class inspired by the Kundalini approach with a focus on spinal flexibility, digestion, and breathing. Expect a low to moderate impact class with special attention paid to relaxing and mobilizing your back and oxygenating your blood! No experience needed but please know your limits. Bring mat, towel or something to sit on.
