Anyone in our lives can be considered a soulmate. Soulmates are those
who have come together for the purpose of learning from eachother. We
may or may not consciously recognize each person as the soulmate that
they are to us, but if they have helped us to move forward in some way
along our spiritual paths, then they have been a soulmate to us.
Soulmates can be our children, our friends, our lovers, our neighbors,
even strangers who suddenly come into our lives and bring with them
the gift of some higher awareness about ourselves and our world.
Soulmates are those who help us to see the truth beyond our
illusions... our false or mis-taken beliefs about ourselves and our
lives, so they can literally be anyone.

Soulmates are those people who reflect back to us not only the parts
of ourselves that we love, but also the parts of ourselves that we may
see as unloveable and unacceptable. The very people we know and love
can sometimes bring up the most painful things about ourselves and our
lives that we have kept hidden, because we didn't want to face the
"darkness" of ourselves. When we are faced with looking into the
things about ourselves and our life that feel uncomfortable to us, we
have two choices: we can either choose to look only at the one side of
our mirror that we find comfortable and pleasant to look at, or we can
change our perspective to one that sees that there may be something of
great value and beauty in that other side of ourselves as well.

One of the things that soulmates can help us to learn is to see the
patterns of our lives...our fears, which include such emotions as
anger, resentment, hatred, and all the ways that we judge and condemn
ourselves and find ourselves guilty of some wrong doing and not being
good enough in some way, and therefore see ourselves as not worthy or
deserving of the love that we all seek in our lives. Our soulmates can
teach us through our relationships with them that we worthy and
deserving, and we will see this truth when we understand that is why
they are in our lives and allow ourselves to learn by opening our
hearts to the lessons they have to offer and the gifts that learning
brings.

A soulmate reflects to us our pain and our joy. Each person who brings
up the pain inside us is presenting us with the opportunity for
greater personal and spiritual growth by showing us the parts of
ourselves that we have rejected and not loved. If we reject any part,
any aspect of ourselves, we cannot see ourselves as truly whole...it
will feel like something is missing, and we will look for that
"something" in other people through our relationships with them. With
each new understanding and higher awareness that a soulmate has the
potential to bring to us if we are open to it, we are able to more
fully accept ourselves, and no matter how painful or upsetting the
process of learning, we have much we can feel grateful for, because we
have truly been given a gift when we begin to see with our spiritual
eyes and heart. It's then that we can truly see that our pain has
meaning and purpose and that we have the potential and capacity to
find even greater depths of joy within ourselves and reflect that joy
in beautiful and uplifting ways for all.

A soulmate relationship can become a twin soul relationship when two
people are ready to share at that higher level. If a soulmate we are
with in a relationship right now is ready for a new level, then the
relationship will be elevated to a higher level through our shared
intention. If it's the intent of only one person in the relationship
to move to a higher level, then it cannot be anymore than what it is
until that is the heart's desire of both. At that point it may be
helpful to offer the relationship to God and the Angels and allow them
to help us do whatever it is that serves the highest good of each and
all concerned, including the relationship itself. The relationship
will either continue to thrive and blossom and grow to new heights or
it will simply fall away like flowers gone by, to make room for the new.

A twin soul is someone who has consciously chosen to look for
themselves in another...someone who understands that in our
reflections is found the truth of our wholeness. We draw the energy of
this conscious understanding through the one who also sees this, and
we attract that person into our lives. This relationship feels like
"the one" to us, because it is...it is the conscious awareness of our
being at one with ourselves and at one with all. We are connected to
each and every one through the Divine Heart of Spirit. When one
suffers, we all feel it in some way. When one loves, we all feel that
love on some level of our being and it is healing on even the subtlest
levels.. Twin souls mirror eachother completely and accept all aspects
of eachother, the "lightness" and the "darkness".. .the strengths and
the weaknesses. They acknowledge eachother's strengths and encourage
one another to develope their strengths... their gifts and talents...
and find joy in eachother's efforts and accomplishments. They accept
eachother's weaknesses also in their conscious awareness that these
aspects of ourselves also have meaning and purpose in our growth.

Twin souls consciously encourage one another to continue to grow
personally and spiritually through their mutual support of eachother
and deep spiritual love for one another. They have a level of mutual
trust, emotional safety, security, respect, and communication in their
relationship that surpasses most, because they are each honest with
themselves and so they can be honest with eachother. They find depths
in themselves and in their relationship that many people spend their
entire lives searching for, because they understand that to be honest
with oneself is to truly show love for oneself. When we have truly
loved ourselves in this way, we can reflect this love out into our
world through our conscious choice of thought, words, and actions that
are uplifting and healing.

To draw the energy of a twin soul into our life is to acknowledge our
wholeness, our belovedness, and our desire to merge with another in a
Divine marriage of spirit...the harmonious blending of the Divine
masculine and feminine energies we give __expression to in all that we
are. We are one in our awareness that we each are both the Divine
masculine and the Divine feminine. The twin soul relationship can
reach a level where all resonates sweetly and harmoniously like
beautiful music. The voice of our beloved plays like the sweetest
music in our ears and upon our heart and soul, because it reflects so
beautifully the sweetest music of our own heart and soul. We call our
beloved our sweetheart, because that person touches the very heart and
soul of us with their own sweet heart. When we draw the presence of
our twin soul to ourself, we present ourself with the gift of a
relationship that reflects the beauty of a true spiritual partnership
at the deepest levels of heart, soul, and spirit.

To be grateful for the gift of eachother and all that we are, is to
create a relationship that is based in an awareness of true spiritual
love, and brings the shared gifts of inner peace, joy, and love that
can be cultivated to heights of great beauty and be a blessing not
only to eachother, but to all.

So, is this true a Soulmate becomes a twin flame when the two are both willing to take
a higher step..because that's not what i ever understood to be reading this tribe
And can a Twin's energy be blocked off [i guess on purpose -huh?] because right now he is
sharing his life with someone else? is there any way i can summon the "energy" back?
