They say that life begins at 40 yet the puter is dominated by younguns (twinks) who may not be appealling to us men who like their men a little seasoned. Drug-Resistant HIV Found in China

More than 17 percent of positive people in China possess a drug-resistant strain of HIV, Chinese researchers announced at the XVII International AIDS Conference in Mexico City, Reuters reports.

Positive people can run out of options quickly as only seven of the more than 20 HIV drugs are available in China. The virus usually mutates into a drug-resistant form only after people have been on medication for some time. The mutant strain was found in Chinese families with low and unstable incomes.

The Chinese government estimated last year about 700,000 people are infected with HIV.

The Final Edition of the ICP

Dear Friends of the International Carnival of Pozitivities:

It is with both joy and sadness that I am writing to announce the final edition of the ICP. After you receive this notice, I will delete the mailing list for the ICP from my files and you will no longer receive announcements about the project. I was placed on a new drug regimen about 2 months ago and have experienced a serious side effect to the new meds. I am no longer able to continue to maintain the project as a result.

Please know that it has been a joy to bring you the ICP for the past 2 years and that I wish I could continue the project into the future. However, my focus has to be on my own healing now. For those of you who have contributed or hosted the ICP, my heartfelt gratitude can hardly be expressed. For those who blog about HIV/AIDS and who fight to end the stigma of this disease, I urge you to continue your work. We are all in the fight of our lives.

HIV being cured in Peru

Has anyone heard about the peruvian doctor who's patients are testing negative after 6 months of treatment. He has yet to publish his findings in a scientific journal. He is reportedly using Uncaria tomentosa, U. uraguayensis and Dracontium. I read about this in a book called The Healing Power of Rainforest Herbs by Leslie Taylor. Any feedback is appreciated.

Hi , I am a poz guy living in Queensland Sunshine Coast hinterland and I joined this tribe in the hopes that I might get to meet some local poz guys but this tribe does seem to be very quiet. Is there anyone out there?

whether poz or neg its all about acceptance i may be poz but i will live a long time yet, and i hope some neg bois can feel free to talk ask questions or even just become aware hiv is not a scary thing, just something that is there... I still live a normal active life, but if i play i MUSt play safe always...
