Re: My video......
Thu, March 1, 2007 - 11:44 AMYes, I agree with Eugenia. Since he is your hubby, it would be totally appropriate for you to dance around him more, flirt with him, 'tease' him a little. I saw a dancer with a live drummer resently (not her husband/boyfriend just a drummer) and she occassional approaches him with brief little flirty moves. He would 'respond' with a rift to match her move. It was wonderfully flirty and added so much to the dance. The audience responded to the flirting with hoots, zhagareet, cheers and laughter. You and your hubby should work stuff like that into the 'act'. -

Re: My video......
Thu, March 1, 2007 - 2:44 PMIt seems there can be a dynamic in drum solos like that, not in the ordinary "flirty" sense, but more expressing the deeper interplaying energies of yin/yang. Its potentially more archetypal, an expression of the interplaying energies that underlie all creation. In that sense, its something of a ritual even!
But anyway, you also had a wonderful connection with the audience, and even in some moments were "flirting" with them which was very sweet. It looks like you were having fun and you were getting them to join in the fun as well.

Re: My video......
Thu, March 1, 2007 - 4:30 PMThose are great suggestions and I plan on using them with a love song. This song was not a love song, but a you did me wrong song. Next time we do the song together I plan on throwing in a few kicks and perpouseful flaunts his way.
