i was told that the guardian of doors is non-other than a trick of our own subconscious mind...
‘it’ try’s to keep you inside of your safe space... and 'herds' you away from new experience by using your own fears...
the closer you get to experience the unknown, the more these nameless fears appear in your mind…

instead of experiencing these as nameless fears, one can try to visualize this force as a person...

now you can try to trick your way around this person, but that is hard to do because this person knows every thing you are thinking ... or you can try to confront these fears as opponent… one of your own image

it has been my experience with my own subconscious mind, that it try’s to make me think it isn't even there... it will oppose any force i use with and equal and opposite force... making me think that it is wall i’m pushing on instead of an opening to a new experience…
this force, my subconscious, wants to stay hidden and try’s to keep me safe by keeping me within the walls of known experience i've erected in my own mind
