A little more than one month ago, we told you about the first live release ever from Kraftwerk, "Minimum Maximum". The double CD version is now set for a June 6 (7 according to the Astralwerks web site) release (through EMI and Astralwerks). Some sources say this double album will come in two very similar versions: regular and German. Both offers 22 Kraftwerk songs recorded in the UK, Poland, Japan, USA, Russia, Poland and other countries.

Re: First live album from Kraftwerk
Mon, April 25, 2005 - 4:06 AMHi Atom, This isn't the first live album from Kraftwerk, there's another one: Concert Classics.
It contains: Kometenmelodie, Autobahn, Morgenspaziergang Part 1 and Morgenspaziergang Part 2. I gather it's from a concert around 1974 judging by the songs on offer. Sadly i do't own Concert Classics so I can't tell you if it's any good.

Re: First live album from Kraftwerk
Tue, June 7, 2005 - 1:01 PMI have a Double Live Kraftwerk album called "Lauschangriff", released about 1997..it also has some cool remixes like William Orbit's remix of "Radioactivity" and the "Kinder" version of "The Robots" sung by children.
Actually, it sounds like a bootleg, recorded from the audience and I wonder if it is officially sanctioned by Kling Klang.
It cost me 23 Irish pounds at the time...that's almost 50 US dollars. -
