anyone know why he was in the Kraftwerk lineup for so brief a period?

    Dear Chris,

    Fernando Abrantes was with Kraftwerk for the UK leg of their "Mix" tour. The stated reason was that he lived in Portugal and that it was very difficult to work with him in this regard.

    However, a source I have in EMI told me that he was asked to leave due to his "movements" on stage which were incompatible with the image and ambience of Kraftwerk.
