Hello All,
I am getting ready for the spring show at the theater I assist at, and we have uncovered a need for a somewhat pecululiar prop. We need a knife target that is gimmicked. Basically a large board that has been set up so that the handles of knives suddenly spring into appearance as if they had been thrown at it.
If we can’t find one to borrow, then we would greatly appreciate advice from any one who has any experience making this particular type of gimmick.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, and the best of the season to one and all….

Re: Seeking to borrow a theatrical prop.
Sat, December 27, 2008 - 11:41 PMIn the fine tradition of community supported youth theater we don't have a budget. Thus our desire to borrow rather then build.
We aren't going to need any new wood for this show so we can scratch up $100 rather easily.
We hate building something for a single scene in a single show, but if there is some interest in using it elsewhere later....
