  The link I think is gone now, but let me say there is no other more elegant way to ride for a lady than side saddle, and QE had one of the best teachers ever known.

      Actually, if done correctly, side saddle riding is extremely comfortable and secure. Most people think you are sitting twisted on the saddle but you aren't actually. You sit, evenly weighted in the center of the saddle, hips and shoulders squarely aligned and foreward.
