Thanks for that, it's great to know that there is an established Silat system out that way (and here, too, with Guru Rennie).
SKT, from the info I gathered from your great site, looks awesome. The Tekpi is a weapon I'd be very interested in learning, for sure,
as well as the system in its entirety. At this point we're just playing with the idea of moving, but at any rate the systems that have reached out to me so far all have counterparts here, which is great in the event that I begin training here. Pekiti Tirsia and the Giron Arnis system of Escrima are two other systems taught in both locales. To be honest my main concerns now are all the KKK, Nazi skinheads, and southern cannibals we might encounter, not to mention the heat.. when I think of those things, I think "forget it!"... lol! I am a city boy "Northerner" at heart, and terribly proud of it!
