--Well Fixit (Bruce) wants the Last Caresse so it's going to get towed away this Friday; can't wait to see what he does with it. There's a pile of RM stuff on board so we'll have to chuck it in the meadow and cover it with another tarp.
--Have also been finding tools and such and have been piling 'em up in the downstairs office. Have found a Sawzall, a hand drill, a skilsaw and a very rusty set of wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.
--Anyoneknow what's to become of Draya's dad's trailer? It's going to sink into meadow muck in a month or two..

Re: Trailers and tools and stuff
Wed, October 21, 2009 - 12:28 PMOkay lets try our best not to heap it in the meadow its adding more work. Id be ever so grateful if perhaps you can see it gets near the current lot of things on the gravel pad and we will sort that.
We will work on getting the trailer as soon as humanly possible. Thank you Steamboat for allowing us there, we are forever in your debt.

Re: Trailers and tools and stuff
Mon, October 26, 2009 - 2:53 PM--Still no sign of your Makita drills. Fixit and I got Nick's trailer cleaned out and all the good stuff is near the tarped pile in the meadow. All the debris (there was LOTS!) has been piled into the old Ranger for a dump run at some undetermined date. Trailer's still sitting in the meadow but I'm hopeful it'll get towed off some time this week. I'm hosting Dorkbot this Thurs night so maybe it'll happen then.
--No rush getting "nice" trailer out of meadow, aside from sinking when rains start and grass growing around it.
Oh, and we found a couple of bagged tents, etc in the old trailer and I slung 'em into the nice trailer to get 'em out of the weather.
--Re: scheduling: I'll be out of town weekend of Nov 5 for Hackers and J and I will both be out of town on turkey-day but otherwise I'll be around to help with whatever. -

Re:Trailers, cooking tools, space consderations, etc.
Mon, October 26, 2009 - 3:48 PMFolks, we may have some new things to sort out online in a few weeks, maybe even sooner if things happen the way I want. Do we have room for a Class C RV and an 8' trailer next year containing kitchen equipment, extra water, and stuff? Are Ricardo and Tyconderoga coming with Allie and Draya? There are good reasons for me asking. I may have recruited a p/t cook for next year, and am poking around for equipment. We'll also want to start thinking about dietary needs, perhaps even menu items and preferred snacks + drinks to have for the crew. I got some plans. Also: I can get two different types of shot glasses right now for us for 33 cents a pop in limited quantities. The first has a skull on the front of it (how convenient) and the other is marked "toxic". I've showed 'em to iRONic and they look good to him. We could use them for a 'Pandemic party'.
Speaking of which, if we get a movie screen and a projector, we could even show a movie named "Pandemic" that's coming out on Oct. 20. if you have a notion.
I must be crazy....every time I see halloween stuff, I think of you nutty hippies, and being back on the playa with you.
One last thing:
You'll never believe it, but it's SO WRONG...........the rock band KISS is doing a promotion this Halloween with M & Ms candies. Black, white, and red M & Ms.....in FOUR separate little bags, for Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, and the other two guys. I can see Gene Simmons smilin' like, "Hey, it's our band, we're marketing it, the name and images are trademarked, I don't see why we don't get paid for using them."
Friggin' money grubbing sellouts.
