"If it sounds too good to be true, it is!" ~ How many times have you heard that said?
Last year I threw away a lot of money searching for a home based business, had practically given up looking and had resigned myself to finishing my degree and to the fact that I might be staying in the 9-5 grind for the rest of my life.
While on a trip to Florida this past April, a friend of mine, Karen told me about a new business she had just gotten into and that it had a lot of potential and on top of that it was free. “Yea right! Nothing is free”, I said. Yes, I am jaded folks!
After getting home from Florida, Karen called me and again asked if I would at least take a look at her free opportunity.” What do you have to lose?”, she said, “It's free, come on just do it. YOU are THAT important to me that I want YOU to see this for yourself. You don't have to buy anything at all if you don't want to and it really is free to join.”
She then threw me the curve ball. "Come on', just this one time and I'll never ask you to look at anything else again.”
Well, I caved. This was one of my best friends and if it was that important to her, it couldn't hurt to look at it and then tell her no afterwards. Right?
Karen was right. It was free to join, according to the video. After viewing the video I was convinced that they had captured my email address, even though I didn't have to supply it to see the video, and that I would be receiving one of those 'You have until midnight tonight or forever lose out!' emails. I kept waiting & waiting for the email to come telling me that if you 'upgrade now' then you will have the potential to make even more! Or 'you have until such & such time to upgrade' or forever lose that income that you 'could have had', etc. etc. Or, you MUST buy this or that. Those so called 'back end' emails. I'm sure you've joined enough opportunities that you've seen these emails too!
I called Karen and said, 'You know what girlie? I don’t believe it and I think that I am going to pass on this. Eventually something will come along or not, besides, Karen..(and here it is folks): If it sounds too good to be true, then it is!!"
Karen called me a few months after that and told me she was getting her first check. I asked how much and she said she wasn't sure but proudly announced that it was over $25.00. My response, “How the heck (I didn't say heck by the way) do you NOT know how much your check is going to be and do you realize you've worked over 2 months for that $25.00???????”
Karen said she wasn't sure because it was the first checks that the company was cutting since it started and also told me that the hardest work she has done with this company was trying to convince me to join. Yea right!
She then made me an offer that I just couldn't refuse - 'I'll will personally refund all of your money if you are in any way unsatisfied". Ok, ok, I agreed. Although, I'd get nothing refunded since it’s FREE! Ha! But I knew that I was going to get her when that email came asking for money to upgrade to a ‘pro-member’ with this company. So I told her that when this company starts with the 'upgrade to make more money' emails that she owed me a dinner at the most expensive place I can find, and trust me, there are some EXPENSIVE restaurants in Florida. She agreed.
So I joined. I also kept waiting for that email asking me to pay an upgrade fee (which has never come by the way.)
The emails that came on a daily basis were 'training emails' telling me how to work my business.
"Shop in my online mall and give malls away to other people for FREE? What’s the catch?
I was still looking for the catch.
Here it is, I haven't found one, well, not exactly. There is a small one but it does make sense when you think about it. You only make money if you and everyone is shopping from their malls. But again, I shop online anyways and now I check to see if I can find it through my mall first.
The founder, Ginny Dye is very genuine in her broadcasts to the members and they practically come daily. I have never been involved with a company that has communicated SO MUCH with it's members. I am actually very IMPRESSED.
To be honest about it, what I wasn’t impressed with in the beginning was the amount of money that I had made in my first month. A whopping $3.00! Yes, I said three dollars. But then it hit me. Unlike some companies in the past who shall remain nameless, I didn’t pay anything for that 3 bucks that I wouldn’t have done anyways. Shopping on the internet and I had given a few malls away to people that had given a few away to their friends.
Hmmmm. A few malls given away made me that, so what will happen if I give a few more away? What will happen if I help people give their malls away that I had given malls to? So I became a little more aggressive with my mall giving away venture.
The next month I made a little over $12.00. Not bad for just giving something away and shopping online.
A month ago I went to a meeting in Rogers, Arkansas. As I was eating lunch, I realized that I was sitting in the town where the very first Wal-mart was built by Sam Walton. I started strolling through memory lane of playing volleyball with him at an annual Jaycees fundraiser and just how nice he was and didn’t seem like a billionaire. Just a down home kind of guy that always wore a snap up shirt and baseball cap everywhere he went. And I remember having him at one of our banquet dinners, where he was dressed up in the tux. The first thing he did after exiting the stage was put on that base ball cap.
And that is where everything hit me. Sam Walton believed in what he was doing and without that belief during his frustrations, ups & downs, he most likely would have more than likely quit. But he didn’t and Wal-Mart made A LOT of people rich that also believed in Sam Walton’s dream.
Then my mind strolled over to Microsoft and Bill Gates. Don’t you wish that you had bought stock in Microsoft in the 80’s?
Right then and there in the middle of ‘Chili Peppers’ I made my decision to believe. To believe in the Ginny Dye’s vision. To believe in myself. To believe that this thing is going to grow and be bigger than anything I have ever been involved.
What is it really costing me? A little bit of my time when I go places or maybe chat online with someone that is interested and wanting to know more? I go places anyways and I chat online anyways. This fits like a glove.
If you haven’t signed up for your own shopping mall you need to do so today!
Here’s why:
1. It’s free and always will be. So many business opportunities let you sign up for free but then you are asked to upgrade and pay to continue to be involved. This is not the case with My Power Mall.
2. Everything is set up and in place within minutes of signing up. If you have ever thought about starting your own affiliate website or internet business, then you know how much work can be involved. With My Power mall, you will get a free website, marketing & training material through you back office, access to a mentor and much more!
3. Over 1100 merchants, which is the backbone of My Power Mall, and includes Target, Dell, Zappos, PetSmart and a lot more being added.
4. Earn a rebate on your online shopping. How much to you get now when you shop at your local store or mall or any other website that you shop from?
5. Gas is HIGH these days. Many of the stores in the mall offer free shipping. Drugstore.com offers free shipping for any order over $25.00.
6. You get rebates on purchases of people that shop in their own malls below your to 9 levels deep and you can build unlimited with. I live near Little Rock, Arkansas and I would love to earn a small percentage of everyone who shops at the Park Plaza Mall. Same thing here! We can earn rebates on purchases of thousands of people.
7. You can help make a difference in people’s lives. This one is very important to me because I have been involved in a few MLM businesses, gotten other people involved that they have lost money. That’s what I am loving about My Power Mall. No one is going to lose money and I am confident I will help a lot of people. If those people are willing to come on board with me and start building a solid foundation.
8. Everyone shops so you never run out of prospects. Niche marketing is a good thing, but it is limited. However, with a shopping mall with over 1100 stores there is a huge potential to get paid a rebate on the purchase of literally thousands of different products.
9. There is no selling involved. A lot of people fail with online opportunities and offline ones because they cannot sell or recruit people to sell. All that you do with My Power Mall is shop and give away free shopping malls. And I have to be honest here. My Power Mall is one of the most powerful and simple system I have ever done, so if you can’t do this, it might be better that you keep your job.
10. There is a real opportunity here to make a lot of money. After crunching the numbers I am talking between $2K – 5K per month and possibly even more! You just shop every month, give away shopping malls to anyone and everyone that you meet online or off and the system will do the rest.
I could go on and on about My Power Mall. You might find other reasons if you join and I hope that you do. At the very least, do yourself and your family a favor. Watch the short presentation and join. You’ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain.
