I guess it makes perfect sense that she's not playing the Warfield again, since last time she announced: "This is my last time performing in this shitty place".

Yeah, well wait till she gets a load of the Fillmore. I refuse to go to that dive. Everyone I've ever seen there sounded like crap, I couldn't see anything and couldn't sit down. Has any of this changed lately? Warfield's one of the best places I've ever seen anything. Sounds great and no bad seats. Ah, well. I guess she's a big rock star and can pick and choose. -

As for the Warfield/Fillmore debate, I think I only saw one show at the Warfield, and thought it was OK soundwise. I've never been disappointed at the Fillmore, in any way. As a performer, I've never played at the Warfield, but the Fillmore was always one of my favorite places to play - the sound was good, both for the audience and onstage, and we were always treated like kings backstage. It could be that the Warfield isn't the most artist-friendly venue - if Siouxsie wasn't treated well by the venue staff, that could have a big impact on why she refuses to play there anymore.

Going to try and see if anything else is going on after the concert. I was glad to see that Rasputina will be opening for Siouxsie. Although, it's not someone I would have anticipated opening for Siouxsie.. -
