It was really light on plot and acting chops, but for a two-hour movie it went by quickly because it was so beautiful to look at and the use of soundtrack was pretty genius. I loved the use of "Ceremony" and "Kings of the Wild Frontier" and "I Want Candy" as well as "Hong Kong Garden". Now where's my Louis frock coat....

I loved this movie especially, as everyone has said, because of the soundtrack. Visually and aurally the whole movie was like candy. I also saw it in the theater, alone, and just getting over the flu so my judgement was a bit off - perhaps if I was 100% the acting might have gotten on my nerves but all in all I loved it. I had also just watched a 2 hour documentary on PBS of Marie Antoinette so I know what happened to her after the movie ends, pretty hoprrific what they did to her and her family and friends - that's a whole other movie, for Tim Burton perhaps!!??
