Wed, February 25, 2004 - 6:17 AMHey... what ever happened to a civic-minded populace? Just to play the other side, why can't a housewife be as formidable a political pundit as anyone? If anything, someone who stays at home might actually have time to watch C-Span and read the paper every day. Meanwhile, I've known plenty of people in politics who seem to have very little insight about politics....
But plenty have said that Wonkette could benefit from some well placed sources. I get much better gossip about the Hill from my fiance's ex-office mates there.
I haven't been there in a few weeks. Has it been any good? -

Fri, March 19, 2004 - 11:44 AMI love Wonkette. She turned me on to the Bush/Cheney Sloganator -- a feature of the BC04 website that let you customize a Bush poster with your own slogan. I saved a dozen pdfs ranging from "Jobs are for Losers Anyway" to "Let the Poor Eat Each Other" before they took it down. Wonkette may indeed be a "housewife" but she also appreciates the merits of whiskey before 10 am and an endless string of profane jokes. At least to me, she might be the perfect woman.
