CALVAIRE AT THE ROXIE

topic posted Mon, October 9, 2006 - 10:48 AM by  Fishbits
Sorry to bother... after the madness of this weekend (hi all I saw, deep apologies to all those I missed).... I know a lot of you are film buffs, and I will refrain from sharing my movie crap with you... but this is supposed to be VERY good.

A deeply disturbing retake on the old "crazy inbreds" thing with a black humour twist (the guy is a vacuous pop guitarist that writes love songs to get ladies)...

his car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, and things start going quite wrong.

This is supposed to be on par with Miike's Audition and Visitor Q for the type of realism and depiction of terror, rather than just blood and guts.

Let me know if you go we can say howdy.

HI CLAY. Gosh... moving your concrete and historic self to 16th and Val will be impressive. I saw it... ehhhhh... I dunno. I was not too excited in the end. I was really... umm..sleepy! it seemed very slow. CHEERS... See you at Evil Dead II this weekend!
