So here's the deal... I'm an engineering student at the University of Wisconsin, and also an avid hooper. I've been given the chance to get school credit to build a rack for bike that holds hoops. It's my senior design project. I love all of the ideas that have been put forward, and want to make a design that is simple, effective, and easily built by anyone who reads my online instructions. It will hold at least 8 hoops and be easily removable and well balanced.
I'm not going to sell it, I just want to spread knowledge. I've started a tribe for this purpose! Please post your ideas, as I know that I cannot do this alone. I'd love your thoughts.

Re: Let's make an amazing bike rack to hold hoops!
Fri, September 14, 2007 - 11:18 AMThank you Danielle! Though not a hooper myself, I have many friends including room mates that are, AND we are also all bike enthusiasts. Did I spell that right...? Oh well...you know what I mean.
I'll pass the word (and link).
Peace,
Lucian :-)

Re: Let's make an amazing bike rack to hold hoops!
Fri, September 21, 2007 - 8:05 AMDo you have some specs please?
diameter?
weight?
individual thickness?
number of hoops.
do you want something to attach to your existing rear rack?
how about a stand that fits in a bob?
transverse or longitudnal loading?
