I bid my sweet 97 Honda Prelude goodbye. I hated to see her go, I LOVED that car. But she was starting to get cranky on 140000 + miles. So I traded her in on an 05 Infiniti G35 MT coupe. NO REGRETS WHAT SO EVER ! As soon as I can hoook my iPod in and get my MOMO knobs on I will be totally happy. One thing I always hated about my Prelude was the sunroof button on the dash when every right thinking person expects it to be on the ceiling, funny now I got it in the right place I am used to it being in the wrong place. Qwell some rain must fall.
Also, I AM NOT A YUPPIE ! I am blue collar with good taste. So I started Tribe Infiniti come over and defend the Prelude Blow our doors off. http://tribes.tribe.net/infiniti

I want a low-mileage 5th gen Prelude, preferably an automatic, black or white (ideally, but definitely not red), for something like $12K. Is this impossible? Everyone in Atlanta wants $17K now, when they were in the $13K range six weeks ago.

Need to fix a lowered car...

I have a '95 Honda Prelude. I bought it used and it's already been lowered. It's eating up tires, and scraping the hell out of my front bumper and exhaust. I know someone who will raise it back up for me, but the only stock-height springs I can find are through Honda, and they want over $400 for them. I've checked with some performance parts dealers, and they only carry springs to lower cars. Any suggestions? Please help!

Radio Died Yet?

Has anyone had their radio die or set the anti-theft alarm after the battery went dead and you didn't have the code to unlock it? Or even know there was a code if you have a used car?
I purchased an Acura AM/FM CD radio and found it wouldn't work because the anti-theft locks it when battery power is lost and I didn't have the code or any way to get it. I didn't know those radios are booby trapped that way but after a search on the internet I found that it's a big problem for used car buyers who don't have the code and their radio dies the first time they have a dead battery. I went to the Honda/Acura dealer but they refused to lookup the code for me saying I had to bring in the whole car to prove it wasn't stolen. Like anyone would steal a 7 year old factory radio! I also found out that the dealers have a scam where they will offer to "fix" dead radios for $79.00! I'm an electronics technician so I opened up the radio and removed the chip that holds the code. If anyone else has this problem I can tell you how to remove the code. It's fairly easy on radios made for Honda my Matsushita.

I'm preparing to make an engine swap in my '88 Si. Anyone got advice on where to get the new engine H22A engine cheaply? How about exhaust systems? What kind of exhaust kit can I use to boost performance and keep the thing emissions legal?
