I actually am doing a project with a recycled computer (the entire tower's contents). Just hit a bit of a financial setback but overall a great idea. Have you seen some of the information out there of people who have converted these into some real awesome stuff?

Let me tell you...

Computer boards have alot of toxins that I don't even want to think about inhaling in my lungs or even disposing of in the trash.

They contain flame retardants that are banned already or are going to be banned in the near future.. the also contain dioxins.. which are an order of magniture more toxic than regular toxins such as asbestos etc..

I think you get the point.

Be careful with them.. you do not want to grow a tumor 2 decades from now.. from a simple art project..

or let someone else decorate their home.. and then have it end up in the trash where it's chemical will run off into the environment..

this stuff is nasty...although it looks pretty.
