AFROLICIOUS is a weekly international dance party heavy on Afrobeat, Latin grooves Brazilian Drum n Bass Batucada and disco funk with a touch of Balkan gypsy.. We really mix things up here in this community to bring aural pleasure to the masses.
We do this every Thursday night at the Elboroom located in the Mission at 647 Valencia in SF

The foundation of players are Pleasuremaker and Senor OZ with resident drummer Joel Elrod and Bad ass percussionist B-Lee.
We mix electronic and organic. We think like studio producers in a live setting with live remixes. We encourage the community to dance and enjoy life in the musical moment. AFROLICIOUS is a community based project that is bringing in amazing talent from our own Bay area back yard to across the nation and soon across the globe.

We have a growing dance floor and vibe that people around the city are becoming addicted to.
This tribe is to encourage people t o meet, discuss and network about future shows and projects that the Afrolicious crew can be apart of with you; the greater Bay Area talent and peeps. Because with out you... there is no AFROLICIOUS.
