January 14-17, 2008 in San Jose California. It will be followed by the second annual NorCal SusCon at the same location as the class on January 19 and 20. (www.norcalsuscon.com)
Many of you have asked about this class and some of you have already registered. This will be the only offering of this class in 2008 on the west coast.
Please feel free to pass on this information, post it on your websites or your blogs as well as telling your friends!
Join us for an intensive 4-day interactive experience that covers many of the technical aspects of the art and act of suspension. The instructors for this class are Allen Falkner (TSD) and Steve Joyner (CoRE) as well as other suspension artists from all over the country.
Topics covered are technical, medical and legal considerations, that affect a successful suspension. Particular attention is paid to safety issues that include both rigging and the potential for disease transmission. This is a rare opportunity for one on one, hands on teaching with the best of the best. You DO NOT want to miss this chance!
Students are expected to serve as models for each other in the class, or you may bring a friend or family member to serve in your place.
Everyone will have the opportunity to suspend or be suspended if they choose. The choices will be vertical, horizontal or a “pull”. The hooks used will be yours to keep.
This class has been enormously popular in the past and it will fill up quickly.
At the conclusion of the class please join us for the 2nd annual NorCal SusCon on January 19 and 20th. As students of the class you will have the opportunity to apply the skills you have learned and there will be no additional charge for your participation. Beverages and snacks will be provided.
