For me, the movie is pure and simple beauty. I would even go as far as saying it is one of the most perfect films that was ever made.
From the writing, to Hitch, to this stunning cast, it is hard to find better.
I also admire and love the fact, that even with as many times that I have seen this movie, it has never gotten tiresome for me. It is one of the few movies since the invention of film that I consider a 'friend' and something that I will watch simply for the sake of watching.

Wed, June 9, 2004 - 9:58 AMI'll agree with all that and add somethng else. I'm just about 30. I grew up in the age of the slasher pic, 'Nightmare on Elm St.', 'Friday the 13th', etc. I was 8 years old when I saw Psycho the first time. Not only did it scare the bejesus out of me much moreso than the blood and guts horror fare I was used to, but even at that young age I knew I had happened upon something brilliant. I never get tired of watching it.
