The Black Rock Frontier is a western town style burningman village, being organized by Nexus and A Cavallo. The plan is to have a western frontier town at the 9 o'clock keyhole with store fronts on esplanade on either side of 9 o'clock. store fronts will include a real blacksmith, town jail, functional daily paper, functional barber, trading post, town bank,etc. Remote controlled tumble weeds will roll across the streets.
A few hundred feet out from Esplanade will be a grand parlour. This saloon/ brothel combo will be the center point of the Black Rock Frontier. Drinks will be served around the clock, with live music and dj sets.
Throughout the week a drama will unfold in Black Rock Frontier. Each day a different staged event will take place, each event acting as the next chapter to the story. Some events to be included will be:
-a bar fight with break away chairs, bottles, etc
-a bank robbery
-gun duel
-capture and hanging of an outlaw
-burning down the saloon
We intend to collaborate with many other camps on this project
