i have ear surgery next wed. - it's been awhile since i've had surgery, a couple of years, and my fibro seems to be on the wane right now, but i was wondering if anyone has any tips about recovery and fibro for me? i'm nervous about the surgery - well, more about the pain, and knowledge is power, so it eases my mind. thanks.

Thu, April 3, 2008 - 10:01 AMI saw this post and felt like I wanted to answer it but I've not had any major surgery since being diagnosed with Fibro, so I couldn't think of anything constructive to contribute. Now it's Wednesday and you're off for surgery. Dang it! Well, thinking of you Amy and hope it goes OK. Let us know how you make out. -

surgery pain isn't half as bad as most fibro pain,
and can be easily helped with pain meds.
At least in my experance.
