does anyone else remember the first person to give them the yummy tingle of crush-dom?
i'd had crushes from the time i entered school, but brian was the first one that made me think i was in love. he had bushy blonde hair, was a good athlete, and couldn't possibly care less that i existed. but one day, he came up to me at a school recital and asked how i was doing. i couldn't even say anything back to him. to this day, i get sweet butterflies when i think of him - and i still remember his phone number (though all i did was hang up whenever someone would answer).
shit was so much simpler then... i liked this boy simply because of who he was. didn't care about his salary, education, or car (for the record, i still don't) - and i have no doubts that my understanding and ability to express love then was much purer than it is now. puppy love my ass... i bet that right now there's a ten year old girl somewhere who could teach us all a thing or two about love.
think back... when'd you get your first taste?

Sun, January 11, 2004 - 5:50 PMI like your writing, and it hits home. I remember taking Kelly to the movies, actually meeting her there, we were 12. She wasn't particuarly beautiful, but to me, she was a soft spoken, cute girl who had a lovely smile. She made me forget the miseries of day to day, even at that young age.

Thu, January 29, 2004 - 12:02 PMHis name was Fabrizio and he was so hot, it was 5th grade and every girl in school wanted him, including me... I saw him once again when I was like 16... drool...
Then there was Derek, I had it bad for him from from 14-18, but he was 4 years older and didn't know I existed, until we ran into each other again when I was like 21, we dated for 6 months and he turned out to be a big, boring loser that I nicknamed Sominex because all he did was sleep.
