Great segment in "The Word is Out," a 70s documentary about queers. Del Martin is talking about coming out in the 50s. The lesbian scene is explained to her: "They told me 'There are butches and femmes. You're a butch, so you're supposed to date femmes.' Well, I was totally freaked out, because *I* was attracted to the butches. Not only was I a queer, but I was a *queer* queer!"

I was on the gay bi lez trans tribe for about a minute. Got into a heated discussion about the pregnant man.
Seems the moderator of the group found it appalling.
My objections got me a warning that I'll be dismissed from the group.
I was so dis-gusted by the whole thing I left the group.

So it warms the fuck out of my heart to hear others speak of their variation on the standard norm.
I thought for a second there I was going nuts being in a group titled "all inclusive" only to have the moderator
take a stance of such exclusion.

So I'll reiterate,
most humans on this earth are a variant of the socially acceptable standard of male role, female role.
It's only now that were able to express it outwardly.
Every day we get to express ourselves without persecution is one more step towards becoming our true selves without hiding.
