For the better mix of older & younger I know that the Caffmos group does older/younger cruises. Check out www.caffmos.com . I have never been on a cruise at all but would like to. I did see the movie Boat Trip. lol

Two Buds of Mine(43 &51) took a gay Cruise and came back dissapointed!
Gay Cruises in general cater to young Gay Men under 30 and as they said:"Old leathered Lesbians"
As for myself? I wouldnt even consider a Gay ship Cruise, not unless it was an "age Appropriate OLDER Cruise"

Yea I hear the samething, that and it was way to couple centered, for single people.
I have this fear, I would be stuck on a boat with a bunch of couples who were processing (some women like to process alot).

An retired doctor friend of mine was on all gay cruise this past springt and loved it. Others have had good things to say about other all gay cruises too. (But they are more expensive -- no discounting to be found.)

At this point in my life, I wouldn't bother spending that much $ on a vacation destination unless it was all gay -- regardless of the age groups. (Either you get along with others or you don't.)

For some reason, I seem to feel more at ease around gay guys (and lesbians too). Maybe I spend too many years in the closet (or the bushes in my case) -- but when I want to relax and have a good time, most str8 people just get in the way.

A few years ago, myself and my partner plus another couple vacationed together in Hawaii. For one evening went to a formal luau. We got gussied up, each couple wearing matching Hawaiian shirts (corny! I know, but sometimes I like to be a Gomer). The four of us were sitting at a table with 2 str8 couples... one of the women asked us "where are your wives". Rather than exploiting her ignorance with the truth, I simply said they were back at the hotel darning our socks. Any way, str8 people can be nice, but I wouldn't want to be couped with 2000 of them on a ship for 7 days!

I'm with you on this one Paul, however, when those ignorant Women asked "where are your wives"? at that point I'd have kissed my MAN and replied "He's Right here"!
One thing I WILL NOT DO under any circumstances is "Act Straight"...for anyone.

I would have said "We're gay." myself but you never know. Sometimes it's fun to play str8. lol A couple years ago at the Aids Walk in SF I was pushing around my friends little boy & girl in their stroller. It was so funny to see how many people thought my friend was my woman & they were my kids. There were three guys that walked near us almost the entire way. I thought one of them was TOTALLY HOT and at one point they were all looking over at me & I looked right at the guy I thought was hot and did my best Kelly Lebrock eye wink / licking of the the lip / I want to fuck you all night looks. They about shit at first then we just all smile at each other. It was great. After the walk I went to Castro by myself and was hanging with some friends & two guys I was walking behind asked me where my wife was. I told them "I'm gay and that was just my friend & her kids & I was walking behind you guys all day because I thought you were so sexy. I wound up making out with the one I liked the best on the back patio of Uncle Berts / The Mix for about an hour then they had to go as they lived in like Modesto or something.
Anyway, just sharing. lol After work tommorrow I will be in Guerneville till monday the 7th. Lazy Bear Weekend! Woo hoo!!!!

      Hey Guys,
I have a good stroller story for you...
This past weekend my husband and I got a call from some str8 friends asking us to do the "Queer Eye for the Str8 Guy' thing and take him out shopping. We agreed. At one point my guy was pushing the stroller in Macy*s when we got onto a full elevator. The dad was in the rear of the elevator and I was beside the stroller. A young woman looked at the baby and then turned to my guy and said, "What a cute baby" thinking he was the father. The real father then said thanks and the woman looked around very confussed. When she looked at me I said, "He's a lucky boy- he has three daddies!" with a big grin on my face. You could have cut the discomfort with a knife!

As to cruises- I say go. I took a Windjammer sailboat cruise in '99. It was wonderful- only 40 queer people ranging in age from 28 to 65, men and women. The crew looked like Abercromby and Fitch models and were so helpful and easy-going.
