ok, so i'm not sure if i'm talking to the right people, but if someone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome.

so several years ago i bought a stereo, a technics hd505 executive microsytem or whatever. anyway, in the last year, my cd player has started skipping with all of the cds. now the sound of the speakers is starting to sound fuzzy, sort of like a faint snow sound in the background of the music.
is it worth fixing? i truly love it, it's a great system, but is that the type of problem that tends to be unfixable? or too expensive?
what type of place would i go to to fix it?

i am so sad!!! please help!!

If you love it then it's worth fixing. Look for a small TV Repair shop near you , and get an estimate. Also, Panasonic (Who makes Technics products) can be of help. Look for a Panasonic Repair dealer in your local yellow pages.

Sounds like you have dust in the CD Player. This can be easily fixed.
