I am thrilled to death to have found this tribe. I have recently started seeing a wonderful man that has helped me get in touch with my ancestral spirits (for lack of a better word.) He was born into and still practices Palo. His name is Padre Engo. I will be initiated eventually and can't wait to get 'scratched', though I would be lying if I said I wasn't a bit scared.
My fathers side of the family was very involved in Palo but I only met him once. I have always wanted to get more 'in tune' with what is in my blood.

No disrespect to you miss but this person has made a lot of enemies with other well known Tatas that's close to me up their in Brooklyn. He's been confronted for simiple information many inquiring minds demded to know about his lineage and rama that he's from and the name of his Padrino which as usual he fails to provide anyone along with the false talks he speaks about Palo BUT, you don't have to take my word for it. You will eventually see for yourself and when you finally realize and recognize that type of person he really is and want to save yourself from future nonsense from this person then you should find and meet real Paleros in your own area to help and guide you. Not Padre Engo who's main belief system is Satanism. -
