I just heard a fantastic quote from a Swedish philosopher (though I didn't get his name) and it went something like this...

"A villain's behavior is considered correct if the victims never speak up."

This rung very true to me - both in my past relationship as I never said a word against my X during the time he was abusive to me all those years - and also for our present political situation.................... even though we may be speaking against the injustices we see in our gov't, what are we doing about it??
