I have created a group in memory of my daughter who was murdered in February by an ex-boyfriend. Our group is dedicated to educating young women about the danger signs of an abusive relationship and pointing them in the right direction for assistance.
We are a young group but have already incorporated, are non-profit [501(c)(3)] and are looking for stories, suggestions and anything else that will help us to promote our goals.
Please join our group if this is an area in which you are interested.

Re: Jennifer Ann's Group
Thu, December 21, 2006 - 9:27 PMi truly wish you the best of luck with your organization. i've been the manager of a domestic violence shelter for over 2 yrs now. extremely draining, yet rewarding work. on an individual level, i get to meet some really amazing women. on the grand scale, i find myself overwhelmed at times, but i know what i'm doing is educating not only women but a community about the dynamics of domestic violence. i would love to share information, ideas and suggestions with you anytime. and i am always receptive to new ideas and information as well. best of luck in your endeavors. take care.
