Greetings!

I am doing a photography project on women's spirituality and am looking for subjects who would be willing to let me photograph them. This would be on a volunteer basis. I am seeking dancers, yoginis, meditation circles, spiritual healers, drum circles, drummers, pastors, metaphysical/alternative practitioners, visual artist etc...ANY WOMAN WHO SEES HER ART AND HER LIFE AS A FORM OF PRAYER. This is not to exploit your lifestyle or your spirituality. My goal is to celebrate the power of Women's spirits and Goddess energy. You can contact me at: mosaicaluna@yahoo.com Thanks!

I'm in need of a little inspiration. Here's the deal. I started a circus club at my college (american university). Now that i'm all official and this stingy-ass school is acctually giving me money, I need a logo. This is something we'll put on posters and shirts and sooner or later letterhead. I was thinking of incorporating the name into the design. Officially we are American Circus. So i was thinking, a monkey juggling the stars on the american flag, or maybe something where a donkey and elephant in clown noses are juggling clubs or maybe balancing the monkey on their sholders while he spins his tail around like poi. but i dont know exactly. Anyone got any ideas? I'm thinking it will be a little tounge and cheek on the patriotic idea.....
please help!

hey everyone I'm working on a gig November 18,19th 2006

it's in Sarasota FL, near-ish to my house,
I'm working on getting my juggling show, belly dance, and a side show into this festival. currently in talks...

let me know if you're going to be around for this and could possibly make it.

hopefully we can get to my house in St. Pete a little while before that so as to rehearse or actually feel like a group. gee, we even have enough time to maybe put something together for pennsic so we can actually have rehearsed or something!

ok, let's hear some chatter..

m'kay..

well, after trying to hurredly get this show booked at the ballroom, it's not going to happen this year. however, next
year I"m thinking we could do a show there in the middle of the PA faire or perhaps right after it, promoting it the whole
time at the PA faire (maybe even do a couple of them). have special bonus performers from the faire to draw different crowds, whatever... we could even do 2 shows a night, one for the kiddies and one R rated or something.. I think this might be the way to go for promoting the AC

I'm thinking maybe we can get a place for Tennessee as well. looking into that right now...

so I had a slow day at work today and instead of doing the super simple task that could have taken me 2 hours, I fucked off the whole day and worked on the website. I'm working on some cool behind the scenes changes that will make uploading images much much much much freakin easier. and I think I added a pic section too..... as well as the online flyer for the Belly horror show (see other post titled "belly horror show"

and I made a few other small changes, that none but the most cunning will spot. it's still a work in progress, and as I'm getting paid vast ammounts of money to maintain...what? oh....um.. you get what you get and you'll like it. ;-)

I don't know how to send out a mailing list, but as soon as I figure that out, I can alert folks to the updates so they will keep comming back to the website. gotta keep the people informed!

hmm, maybe that's what this tribe thing is for. hmmmmmmmm
