1. Write letters, or emails, lots of emails about stuff you feel passionate about to people who are sympathetic and to the bastards that are making you angry.

IE - John Howard for his appalling act of dragging workers kicking and screaming back to 19th century work conditions, and his terrorism laws that make seditious terrorists of us all.

2. Educate yourself and then educate others. I currently work in a pretty shitty industry that pays me very well. I am about to have my second child and I reckon it is time for a career change - to education.
