It's a new year, and a GREAT time to clean out your belly dance closets and also scoop up great new items at rock bottom prices! Want to sell some of those costumes, cd's, dvds, props, jewlery etc. you no longer have use for? Do you make belly dance items you'd love to sell? Are you on a tight post-holiday budget but are craving new pieces? Help those sad underused pieces in your closet find a new and loving home and grab up some new treasures for yourself while you're at it.
Join us for a belly dance swap and sale on February 24th at the Jewish Community Center- www.weinsteinjcc.org
The sale will take place in the dance studio, so we can't put out tables for your items. Please bring a table cloth or plastic storage bin or other non-scratchy surface to lay your items on. Label your items with your name and the price. Please bring your own cash box with change if you will accept cash for your items.
e-mail either Shari (shari_bennett_speer@verizon.net) or Julynn (joharadance@hotmail.com) if you plan on bringing items to sell or swap so we have an idea of how many "vendors" we'll have there.
time: "vendors" should arrive by 2:15. the sale starts at 2:30. we MUST be out of there by 4:30

Sun, February 3, 2008 - 3:10 PMGood news! We have a NEW SPACE for our Swap and Sale which will allow us to have more time for the event.
The NEW location is Brett’s house in the West End (Brett, for those of you who don’t know him) plays music with To The Earth and is the host of Tribal Jam) and the address is 1627 Swansbury Drive, Richmond, VA 23238.
The NEW time will be Noon-4, and it is still on February 24.
PLEASE let us know if you plan to vend. It is important that we know how many people to expect since we are now using someone's personal residence.
Vendors: If this changes your plans for attending, please let us know. There is no cost to vend, and with this new location you can bring a rack for your items if you would like. Brett also has several surfaces we can use to lay out our items on. Setup will start at 11:30.
