Fri, February 29, 2008 - 2:13 PMI don't think I'll make it to the workshop, but I'll be at the hafla. It will be nice to just be an audience member for a change. Sharri Bennet-Speer and her student Jen Early have a very cute duet planned. Its not to be missed! -

There was a fun duet, very upbeat and light-hearted.
Samira was awesome and I hope she comes back again.
The new location was nice too, though it's still a stone floor. -

Sun, March 2, 2008 - 7:39 PMHeh. We may not have met personally - did you dance at the TTE Swap Meet hafla a few years ago? With zills, black tie top, and um...white skirt i think...? If that was you, you were awesome. I think I may have met you sort of at Tribal Jam um...Oct 06 maybe?

Mon, March 3, 2008 - 9:17 AMYes, that was me. That was the hafla at the church right? That was the first time I'd ever seen Vardo. What a great memory! I don't even remember what I was wearing yesterday. Indeed that was me with the leather flower. I'm going to have to start paying more attention. Hope to see you at the next Tribal Jam. A formal introduction will definitely be in order.

Sun, March 2, 2008 - 3:17 PMI enjoyed the hafla. I missed Shari and Jen's duet damnit! They went on first and I walked in just as the second dancer started. They promised to do it again at the hafla after my workshop. Yes I am super excited/nervous about my workshop. I just hope its fun and challenging and that people feel they got their money's worth.
