Wondering if anyone's come up with a smooth, and not so time consumming/export/import processs of doing a chromagreen shoot and edit wit Production Studio?

I'm working on a little personal project that I've got a bunch of green-screen clips that I need to edit, put in transitions between people, then bring that into AE ultimately and ad in other elements. Has anyone done their chromakeying & transitions in PP prior to bringing that into AE? and if so, what format have you been bringing into AE?

my system: PC, XPpro, Matrox RTx2, 4GB, 2 TB RAID
