They were interested in more information so, we emailed what we had about Adrianna. <br/> <br/>First thing they disapproved of, is the mother was a meth addict. Of course WAS isnt enough I guess. <br/> <br/>Second, mother had her rights removed. <div>Adrianna should have turned 5 years old on August 25th, 2005. Instead, she was beaten to death by relatives in Mexico where the Department of Human Services sent her. <br/> <br/>Adrianna’s mother, Tausha Cram was only 18 years old when the child was born. During this time she also had a drug addiction. Adrianna was removed from her care in September 2001 by Washington County DHS workers. She was removed because she was unable to pay for prescriptions or find medical insurance for Adrianna. She was not allowed to visit her daughter due to the drug addiction to methamphetamine additions she had in the past. She had been clean since before DHS took the child, but she then relapsed when DHS removed Adrianna. <br/> <br/>Tausha had gone in and out of drug addiction spells due to the anxiety brought on by DHS. She states that she would be on her feet again, then DHS would suspend visitations and she would relapse. Tausha had been clean for 2.5 years before the child was removed and is currently clean and sober now. <br/> <br/>Adrianna remained in foster care until DHS decided to send her to the Aunt and Uncle (relatives of father) Veracruz, Mexico. Washington County Circuit Court Judge Kirsten Thompson allowed the adoption. The family of Tausha begged for her to be sent anywhere else and not send her to this family in Mexico. These relatives were dangerous and would abuse her. DHS refused to listen. Evonne barely survived being with these relatives in Mexico herself in 1996. These relatives have dangerous family histories and have waged war on Tausha’s family. Adrianna, caught in the middle, was then murdered. Tausha also believes that the child may have been used in a sex slave ring and/or housekeeping slave. <br/> <br/>Tausha gave up her parental rights willingly a few days before a hearing in 2004. DHS workers told her that the father had already signed papers and released his rights to Adrianna. Tausha spoke with the Governor’s Office August 2, 2005 and found that the father never signed over his rights. DHS had also threatened Tausha that she would lose her rights. They also told Tausha and Evonne they would receive photos and updates to the child’s well being. Photos and information about Adrianna was never received. <br/> <br/>Evonne was denied grandparent’s rights due to a criminal record but had a clearance letter from the State, this gave her complete clearance to even work at a daycare center. Originally, Evonne could not take the child due to a restraining order over disagreements they had at the time. They have since repaired their relationship and are working together to help get Adrianna’s remains back to be buried near her family. Even though Evonne is cleared, DHS usually would not give a child to anyone with even an arrest record. DHS would not consider any other family members, even though requests were made. <br/> <br/>This beautiful little girl, Adrianna is now dead. She is buried in a cemetery in Veracruz, Mexico. Death certificate states she died of post-traumatic cerebral hemoorage (cause undetermined) and deep abdominal wound (cause undetermined). However, I (Heather) feel that this may not be a real death certificate from Mexico. This was given to Tausha by the Department of Human Services. There is no signature and no seal on this form. <br/> <br/>The child was beaten on June 10th, 2005. The family did not take the child to the hospital for 3 days, where she died on June 13th, 2005. Tausha was not informed of the child’s death until July 18th, 2005. DHS refuses to help bring the remains of this child to the US to be buried with family. They state that Tausha gave up her rights to the child and does not have rights to her remains. The Aunt and Uncle involved in the beating is currently in jail, and trying to make a plea bargain with Mexico Court Officials. <br/> <br/>To exhume the remains of the child and bring her here, is very expensive. Tausha was told that $4800 is needed just to exhume the child. This does not include shipping &amp; handling, funeral and burial expenses. A trust fund has been created in Andrianna’s name. We want to raise as much as we can to help this little girl return home. We also want to raise money to help with legal expenses this family needs as Tausha does not have enough of an income. This family didn't deserve to lose Adrianna; Tausha didn't deserve to have her child taken so far away and to lose her to a senseless death. <br/> <br/>To donate to this trust fund, please go to your local Washington Mutual Bank and donate to the name of Adrianna Maria Ramone-Cram. You must use the full name. This trust fund will be available starting on August 8th, 2005. <br/>Department of Human Services took no consideration into the well being of the child. In December 2004, the father made a report that the child was being abused, DHS did not listen or investigate. <br/> <br/>Help us bring this child home where she belongs. Please help us get this story out. Tausha had contacted many places such as newspapers and television stations and was refused the story. This is quite common with the media, to ignore the stories of abused caused by DHS and destruction they cause of families.
