Unfortunately, I missed Saturday's dance class. I was wondering if there might be any plans for a short "refresher course" abourd the Queen Mary before the big ball Saturday night? This would also help my partner-in-crime, who is coming in from out of town and has been unable to attend any of the previous classes.

Thanks for posting and so glad to hear you and "partner-in-crime" will be attending. Will you be there the whole weekend or just for the Ball?
Though I offered to teach a dance class during the day on deck (in the tradition of cruise ships everywhere), the hotel was not able to accommodate us this year. I just looked over the schedule and could not see anything scheduled by any other teachers either.
Still! Do not despair, ask at the ADSLA table when you arrive, there may be someone traveling with the band who is teaching. It is in the Aquitania Room on Deck A. We also might be able to get up something impromptu at the Pajama Party.... (I'll be wearing a 1940's floor length peach satin dressing gown.)

Wed, August 29, 2007 - 8:58 PMI just saw this today on the updated final schedule (it sure seemed like it took a long time to get the schedule info up this year; I seem to recall it being posted much earlier last year):
10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. - The Dance Floor is Open Featuring Classic Art Deco Recordings - Exhibit Hall Bazaar
Hopefully some impromptu instruction could occur there.
