10am to 11:30am - Milly, Shimmies, pops & drops ( Improver / Intermediate)
12pm to 1:30pm - Kay, Arabic Gestures & Meanings (all levels welcome)
2pm to 3:30pm - Claire, Elegant Veil (Improver / Intermediate)
4pm to 5:30pm - Kay, Modern Cairo Style (Improver / intermediate)

Shimmies, pops & drops
Learn to make the most of your shimmies with simple layering and use tummy pops, hip drops and other accent moves to emphasise the music. A fun way to wake up on a Saturday morning!

Arabic Gestures & Meanings
Kay has spent a lot of time in Cairo learning Arabic and socialising with Egyptians. In this class she shares with us some of the meanings of words and gestures that can add an authentic touch to your dancing. This is a dance class and the emphasis is on using gestures and simple mime when dancing. This is a really enjoyable class for dancers of all levels!

Elegant Veil
In this workshop Claire will teach us some elegant veil technique to add a touch of graceful glamour to your routines.

Modern Cairo Style
On her frequent visits to Cairo Kay keeps in touch with the Egyptian dance scene. This dance is changing all the time, with new interesting moves being invented and new dancers bringing their own unique style to the Cairo nightclubs. In this workshop you'll gain some insight into the modern Cairo dance scene and learn some of the trendiest moves being used!

Techno Bellydance!
Kay is known for her energetic, fun and modern style of dance and in this workshop she'll wake you up with her techno beats! Kay's enthusiasm for her dancing is infectious and this class promises to be exhilarating!

Pop Choreography
This is a class aimed at less experienced dancers who are nervous about attending workshops or those that want a gentler pace on a Sunday morning. The pop choreography will be fun and lively, but technique will be kept simple to give newer dancers a chance to enjoy learning in a workshop environment.

Fun with Sticks
Requests for prop workshops are always flooding in, so this stick workshop is for you! Learn some new and interesting technique for making your Saidi routines even more funky!!

Masterclass
This class is a chance for advanced and professional level dancers to have any problems with their technique ironed out. Kay is an approachable and experienced teacher who uses positive feedback and individual correction to aid your learning. The numbers for this class will be strictly limited to give you the best opportunity to learn, so book early to ensure your place!!
