Okay, no, then. It's just that I don't really have the ability to do the torrent thing. But I hope to figure it out soon. -

Re: boondocks : the s word
Sun, February 17, 2008 - 1:23 PMLOL! Aww man-you let the secret out! Yeah, that was a funny moment. I think this episode is particularly relevant to today's media climate. The press wants to talk about a word you said and ignore WHY you said it, what you were trying to say AND meant when you said it.
Imus (who has made his career being a bigoted asshole) initially got called out for referring to a bunch of high achieving A student as 'nappy headed hoes' and the team of white kids as 'nice looking', but the conversation quickly turned into is it ok to say the world 'Ho' or not-which really has nothing to do with what happened. The context of the word is what matters...
...but yeah, Spearchucker...LOL! That's not ok either...! -

Re: boondocks : the s word
Sun, February 17, 2008 - 1:27 PM...and not to start some debate on the issue...but I was offended when Imus apologized. I expected him to say what he said...that's his (and O'Reily, Coulter , Limbaugh, etc) job...to say he didn't mean to offend was an outright lie.
