the whole thing was great., i really think they are devoloping their own flavor wonderfully with this show.

I'm still mostly there with ATHF, unless it's a really good episode.
I'm there with Assy McGee – funny premise, but loses something in the script.
I usually find something else to do when Squidbillies is on. I don't know if I just don't have the patience, or if I'm not southern enough… or if I'm too southern…
Is there a trick to getting into the show? -

Squidbillies – The art style bothers me, the characters bother me, the premise bothers me… it just doesn't seem like there's enough payoff in there for me to take the time to try to like it. Not when there's things like the Venture Bros., which liking comes naturally. -

Wed, May 14, 2008 - 12:50 PMI agree in principle on the live action stuff on CN, although I have to admit, I was grooving quite a bit on that show, Garth Merengi's Darkplace. I thought it was incredibly well done and didn't mind it at all. But Tim & Erik, Saul of the Mole Men, and whatever else there is like that suck so very badly that the only thing I can think is that the producer or director must be the brother-in-law of the owner of the station or something. They're both completely unwatchable. Please, oh God of the cartoons, get rid of them, and hastily. I don't even mind if you take Darkplace down with them (even though I like it). Just get them the HELL off of our station!
