First off, thanks to all of you for supporting Margo and my new club After Dark these last 4 months.
After the end of Dark Sparkle we wanted a new beginning. We were ready to exorcise some old ghosts and bring in new elements for our new club. Well, mission accomplished. While we realized our goal of bringing in more of the new to differentiate ourselves from our former project, you can never really escape your past. Point is, we don't want to! DJing mainly classic tracks weekly in the upstairs at Death Guild has re-invigorated our love of old school goth, death rock, post-punk, new wave, etc. The bedrock of what Dark Sparkle was always based on. While we'll always continue to include new and exciting music at After Dark, we're in agreement that there's no need to hide from the classics that we grew up with and hold close to our hearts as well. We've proved our point, we've moved on to a new venture from Dark Sparkle's inimitable shadow, but it's time to bring some of the sparkle back to After Dark! We're looking forward to seeing you again in June at our new home in Julie's Supper Club. It's a great space and we're very happy to be there. We can't wait to see you on Saturday June 16th!
