Who Knew?

So this tribe came out of a revelation I had with my boyfriend Davor who turned out to also be an agnostic Buddhist... and I had thought I was the only one. Apparently not. Yet another one of life's serendipitous moments. I look forward to many-a interesting conversation here.

To be agnostic is to accept the unknowable. I let go of my certainty about a year ago and reverted from atheism to agnosticism after about 20 years of being a staunch believer in the absence of a supreme overlord. To understand that we don't know is to dwell in a receptive position for the acceptance of wisdom. And Buddhism is the science of living without suffering. A beautiful compliment!

This is wonderful! Thank you for creating this tribe. I am agnostic, but have recently started studying Buddhism, and am finding it to make a lot of sense as well.
