Does anyone have any suggestions for a good (affordable) program that edits videos?

Check with Michelle Joyce. She edits her own DVD's on her computer.

yeah, I noticed that the Linux edition does not have video editing. Are you using Vista? Does Nero have support of .avi movies?

              Somehow lost my post.
I noticed that the Linux version does not have video editing. Are you using Vista? I just got a new laptop with Vista and I have a flip movie camera but it puts out .avi files and not DvX or whateva the camcorder files are, and I don't think Nero can utilize that file type. I need to get into the 21st century and get a camcorder.

hhmmmm....i use nero recode...an option in the program it will turn anything into digital file....you can select...ipod, nero digital, memory stick etc... im pretty sure you can up load from there and recode it. i still have the windows version before vista..what ever that is! LOL...

I think it's "Winblowz 2000", hmmmm, I'm wondering if I should ask Nero support. I don't want to plunk down 63.00 for the download version and have it not be able to edit .avi files.

Ahava, are you going to post any more youtube movies or are you going to put out some dvd's?

I dunno. I bought Nero and something called pinnacle studio and I'm still lost LOL :-) I'm having trouble uploading my Rakkasah performances onto my computer. If I can figure out how to do that, I'll be a happy woman.

Did any of those products work for you? Because it's a demo it will only let you work with a certain amount of the video. I would try that before buying. Then if it works you should buy it for future use.
